Eugene Page
Eugene Page is the Founder and President of Optimal Real Estate, Inc. With over 35 years of real estate experience, Gene leads and oversees all operations from reviewing documentation whether representing Occupiers or Investors, to maintaining relationships with Optimal’s high net worth investors and institutional investors. Gene works to ensure that all our clients optimize their returns given their business objectives, asset class, resources, market dynamics, and risk tolerance. Clients benefit from Gene’s broad expertise in strategy consulting, marketing, workouts, repositioning, and brokerage.
Prior to Optimal, Gene was a senior managing director at the Charles Dunn Company, opening the Company’s North Orange County office. Gene also developed and co-led the worldwide Organizational Strategy practice for Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) where he helped clients such as Boeing, Disney, Capital One, Bank of America, and Whirlpool design and implement internal real estate functions that support corporate strategy. Prior to that, Gene’s leadership experience includes directing Price Waterhouse’s Corporate Real Estate Consulting Services, as well as a Principal at Knight Frank Faulkner and Cushman & Wakefield.
Gene earned an M.B.A. from the University of Southern California and a B.S. from Villanova University in Pennsylvania. He is a member of AIR, a past member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and holds the SIOR designation. He served on the Board of Directors of the USC Marshall Alumni Association of Orange County, is a mentor in USC’s Career Advantage Program for undergraduates in the Marshall School of Business and serves on the Encore Advisory Council of the USC Alumni Association. He is a past board member of Friendly Hills Country Club in Whittier, California. He has travelled the world and as a long-time member of the Los Angeles Athletic Club enjoys early morning workouts and yoga.
Kim Page
Kim Page is the Managing Director of Optimal and has over 20 years of real estate experience. With a particular focus on retail, restaurant, creative office and industrial spaces, Kim provides tailored solutions from identifying properties to executing leases. Kim’s knowledge of the City of Los Angeles’ permitting process and licensing requirements allows many of our retail users to navigate significant red tape with a clear plan.
Prior to Optimal, Kim was with Comerica Bank and responsible for new customer generation and retention by understanding the clients’ needs and recommending appropriate products and services. Prior to her banking experience, Kim was in the travel industry, serving large corporate accounts including Citicorp, law firms and others.
Kim was born and raised in Korea and has lived and worked in Hong Kong. Kim is fluent in Korean and English, with working knowledge of Japanese, Cantonese and Spanish. She has lived in different cultures which makes her a good listener and especially effective at understanding people’s needs.
